Innovation – This Outfit Does Not Exist

Hur anpassar sig modedesign till nya teknologier och idéer? Från London till New York formar Dani Loftus framtidens mode i skärningspunkten mellan teknik, identitet och innovation.
Join us for a lecture exploring fashion tech, sustainability, and identity with Dani Loftus, founder of This Outfit Does Not Exist, followed by a panel discussion with Saina Koohnavard, fashion designer, lecturer, and PhD student at the Swedish School of Textiles, moderated by Nana Sacko, project manager Textile Movement Talent.
Dani Loftus, founder of This Outfit Does Not Exist and the digital fashion platform Draup, is redefining how we design, wear, and value clothing in a world increasingly shaped by virtual expression. Her work challenges us to rethink not only what we wear, but how fashion can exist beyond the physical—unlocking new possibilities for sustainability, self-expression, and identity in digital spaces.
Saina Koohnavard is a fashion designer, lecturer, and PhD student at the Swedish School of Textiles, University of Borås. Her research explores design methods at the intersection of fashion and digital games, using techniques from game graphics to develop new forms of digital materiality and creation.
The event is part of Röhsska’s permanent exhibition Design Stories and centers on the theme of innovation.
In collaboration with Xperience Next, Textile Movement, Västra Götalandsregionen, Europeiska Unionen and Röhsska.
