Workshop: Candy Saturday / Lördagsgodis!

Glaskonstnären Rimon Alyagon Barr skapar söta sockerskulpturer som blåses och gjuts likt glas – med dina unika former!
Inspired by Lördagsgodis, Saturday Candy, Rimon Alyagon Darr invites the audience into the ornamental and intricate world of her Candy Sculptures – edible installations made from sugar, blown like glass and cast into molds of found objects between Jerusalem, Vienna, and Gothenburg.
Visitors can bring little objects they like and with the help of Rimon, create molds that sugar can be casted into.
What emerges are sweet joyful treats enjoyed alongside the stories of their owners. An imaginative fusion of food design, communal storytelling and memory-making. Rimon Alyagon Darr shares her skills and encourages visitors to play with what’s on the plate.
This event is part of a collaboration with the austrian design collective Ding that will be present in the Röhsska museum between June-August. For more information and similar events visit Ding.
