Workshop: Border objects and their stories

Välkommen till en spekulativ workshop om den performativa designen av gränser och teknologier i den nordiska regionen.

Borders, artificial and constructed, are engrained in our world of nation-states. They are materially designed on maps, inscribed in technologies of borderlands, and performed by people – both passing and guarding – borders.

This workshop centers on speculative writing on and about borders. How have modes of speculation been adopted as thinking about future borders?

How is fiction and writing used to understand and negotiate borders? How do borders get written in code and as technical language?

In connection to the research project DiNoBord, we invite participants to a speculative writing workshop which departs from objects from the borders.
