Free Admission for Everyone on Museum Day! 

What about sharks in a living coral reef at the Maritime Museum and Aquarium? Masterpieces by Rembrandt and Picasso at the Gothenburg Museum of art? A meeting with Scandinavia’s oldest skeleton at the Museum of Gothenburg? Or unique mosaics from the mythical Babylon here at Röhsska museum? Explore Museum Day together on Saturday April 20th. We hope to see you there!

We have some activities during the day that you are more than welcome to you participate in:

Fun to weave

Weave together with Weaving in the West. Here at the Röhsska Museum, you can learn to weave together during Museum Day. This activity suits both adults and children, so bring your company and discover the joy of weaving! Whatever you weave, you get to take your new piece home. There is also the opportunity to try weaving in a floor loom and a small table loom.

Time: kl 11 AM to 4 PM

Open viewings of the exhibition Let a Hundred Flowers Bloom.

In the autumn of 2023, the exhibition Let a Hundred Flowers Bloom opened. An exhibition by textile artist Elsa Pärs-Berglund where she depicts political events, global injustices, environmental issues, and the Swedish labor movement during the second half of the 20th century.

Time: Two viewings:- 12 AM and 1.30 PM.
Location: We gather in the stairwell on the 2nd floor. No prior registration is required, but there is a limited number of seats available
